The International Speech Contest and Table Topics Contest for Toastmasters Club of Singapore was held successfully on 20th February 2012, and we all had an amazing turnout and a wonderful night listening to many great speeches from some of the finest orators in our midst! The results are as follows:

International Speech Contest

• Champion: Ng Cher Khim
• 2nd Runner-up: Avi Liran
• 1st Runner-up: Michelle Tan

Table Topics Contest

• Champion: Michelle Tan
• 2nd Runner-up: Ernest Chen
• 1st Runner-up: Jacky Lim

The area contest will be held at the following venue:

Time: 2pm – 6pm

Dear New Toastmasters, it has always been our club’s practice to conduct an Induction Ceremony to welcome all our new Toastmasters who joined our ranks to become more effective, efficient and impactful public speakers.

During the induction ceremony, we’ll have champagne and official pin given to all our new Toastmasters. New members have been informed about the event by our Vice President of Membership, KK Chan.

For our new Toastmasters who have yet to give our VP Membership an official reply if you’re able to attend the induction ceremony, please do so as soon as possible in order for the club to make the proper preparation.
