During his corporate career, he worked as regional manager at MNCs like Johnson & Johnson, SmithKline, Gillette, and America Optical, covering territories like Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Korea. Lawrence is an amputee but he does not let his disability define him or slow him down. He believes that life is about breaking limits and challenging yourself to do things that you think are impossible.

ALOYSIUS LIM, CTM

Aloysius believes in lifelong learning journey as a Toastmaster. A member since 1985 and President for 1988/89 term, he continues to attend meetings and mentor members. He also enjoyed the experience of representing the club in the inaugural Speech Evaluation Contest in the 1990s. Joining Toastmaster is not about the end goal of completing your speech projects but a journey to experience what Toastmaster has to offer, namely to become a better communicator and leader. This is achieved through the pathway projects as a speaker and evaluator, volunteering as an appointment holder during club meetings and being elected as a club official. It’s never too late to join as Toastmaster.  Just commence the journey anytime and have FUN.
