Hosted by Toastmaster of the Evening, Wang Ting Ting, the meeting was certainly not in a state of platitude. Table Topics Master, Manoj Vasudevan had us thinking about ‘Which comes first, the chicken or the egg?’ and ‘Is Santa Claus a communist?’

For the first time, we had a general evaluator at our chapter meeting. We would like to thank Bruno Pereira, DTM for performing the general evaluation as well as Leela Kalwani, CC CL who graced our meeting as guest evaluator.
We will be having our EGM Meeting after the Chapter meeting to vote for a member to take the role of Vice President Education in the EXCO committee. The EXCO Committee is also looking for assistants to help out the EXCO committee. These assistants will be voted for.
We would also like to thank our guest evaluator, Sean Loke, in advance for coming to our meeting today.
For guests, we are located at Sheraton Towers Hotel (a 5 minute walk from Newton MRT). For those who are driving, complimentary parking coupons will be provided. Dinner is served at 6.45pm and the meeting starts at 7.15pm.

Come join us at our club’s mixer - meet other members at our first 2nd Monday Members Nite for a casual evening of networking and getting-to-know-yous.
There are no Table Topics or Prepared Speeches, only good food and fun!

There is a pool table, open patio and bar.

As the Language Evaluator revealed the word of the day, I am sure that many of us at TMCS felt the appropriateness of this selection. This evening, Sally Maier aka Sally Yip, CC performed her final duty to TMCS as toastmaster of the evening. She will be relocating to London in the new year. Sally played the role of Secretary from 08/09. TMCS wishes Sally all the best in her future undertakings.
